Helium One Global held an investor presentation on 16th August discussing its upcoming Tai-C drilling campaign with spud expected mid-to-end Sept '23. The company believes that the Tai prospect will be drilled like a conventional oil and gas well thus having the highest geological chance of success. Tai is not expected to contain any hydrocarbon gases; only helium and nitrogen. Helium One also acquired a new rig in July at a discounted price and is currently mobilising to location. Furthermore, Baker Hughes and GeoLog have been contracted for wireline, cementing and mudlogging services. The company raised £9.9mm and is fully funded for the Tai well, although further exploration will need more funding.
