Helium Evolution has halted field operations on both its wells on the McCord property, HEI-1 and HEI-2, in Saskatchewan. This decision was taken after the negative initial results, which did not return sufficient quantities of helium to warrant production testing. The company has released the contracted rig and is currently reviewing all information gathered during the drilling operations to reassess its exploration model before undertaking additional drilling and may shoot seismic beforehand. The share price has fallen close to 50% over the last week on the disappointing results.
