The Helium Developers Association of Canada (HeDAC) has been established, comprising helium companies operating in Western Canada including Avanti Helium, First Helium, Global Helium, Royal Helium, and Thor Resources to address the growing concerns about helium supply reliability and price volatility. Despite being home to significant helium reserves, Canada currently contributes <2% to global helium production. The initiative aims to secure a sustainable domestic helium supply, tapping into Canada's significant helium reserves in Alberta and Saskatchewan and positioning the country as a trusted helium supplier.
