HAV to Establish Airship Manufacturing in Doncaster

Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) announced plans to establish an airship manufacturing facility in Doncaster at Carcroft Common, promising to create more than 1,200 jobs. The site is set to produce the Airlander 10, which is propelled by helium, with the first airship expected to enter service by 2028; planning approval is pending. The facility aims to manufacture up to 24 airships annually, marking a significant advancement in sustainable air travel and economic development for South Yorkshire.
