GSA Announces Sale of Federal Helium System Assets

The General Services Administration (GSA) announced the upcoming sale of the Federal Helium System assets managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) as directed by Congress which is expected to start on July 12, 2023. The sale includes the Cliffside Gas Plant (Amarillo, TX,), plant equipment, mineral rights, helium storage reservoir (Bush Dome), natural gas wells, and the Federal Helium Pipeline. The sale process is expected to take 8-9 months, and GSA will ensure a smooth transfer of assets.
