Grand Gulf Energy's Jesse-2 helium appraisal well is scheduled for mid-March and all long lead items have been purchased. The well is 1.5 miles SE of the Jesse-1A discovery well and within the same structure, which intersected a >200ft gas column and returned 1% helium to surface. Aztec Well Servicing has been contracted to drill the well. Jesse-2 will exclusively target the gas zones discovered in Jesse-1A, and has been selected as the best of three mature prioritised locations on the Jesse structure. The program will include managed pressure drilling and will terminate at least 50 feet above the gas/water contact.
