Geologists are heralding a new era in energy exploration, focusing on naturally occurring hydrogen, or "gold hydrogen," as a sustainable and abundant resource. This shift towards geologic hydrogen, which could be a cleaner and more cost-effective alternative to traditional "blue" and "green" hydrogen, is gaining momentum among investors and startups like Koloma and Natural Hydrogen Energy.
