French Scientist Identifies Potential Natural Hydrogen in Colombia

Isabelle Moretti, a French scientist and expert in natural hydrogen, believes that Colombia possesses substantial deposits of this clean fuel. Moretti's research indicates that Colombia's mountain ranges, particularly in the Central and Eastern Ranges, contain rocks capable of generating natural hydrogen through chemical reactions with rainwater. While exploration is currently restricted by law, the Colombian Ministry of Mines and Energy is working to modify regulations to enable large-scale research and potentially tap into this environmentally friendly energy source.
