First Atlantic Nickel, a Canadian mineral exploration company, secured 12.5k hectares in the Bay of Islands Ophiolite Complex, western Newfoundland, through 500 mineral claims for its Ophiolite-X project, aiming to explore natural and stimulated hydrogen, alongside other rare-earth minerals.
