Dow, a multinational chemicals firm, is installing small modular reactors (SMRs) at one of its sites on the Gulf coast. Dow has signed a deal with the reactor developer, X-energy, to buy a majority stake in the company - which produces these SMRs called the Xe-100. This is a future growth market for helium over the coming decade.
