Desert Mountain Energy (DME) announced a new partnership with Beam Earth for natural hydrogen exploration and infrastructure development in Arizona and New Mexico. This agreement supersedes a prior arrangement and includes Beam Earth financing C$225k within 90 days, covering all associated costs for geophysical work, drilling, and engineering of natural hydrogen and helium plants. This will also involve using DME's existing hydrogen separation unit at the McCauley Field in its Arizona plant. DME will operate all wells and retain full rights to its existing wells, while profits from new hydrogen and helium production will be shared. Alongside, DME mentioned that it is also planning "blue" (natural gas reforming with CCS) and "green" (electrolyser) hydrogen plants.
