In May 2023, the water and sewerage concessionaire of Aguascalientes utilised He-Tracer helium gas technology to locate non-visible leaks, aiming to recover seepage water in the subsoil. With an estimated 40% of water wasted in the city, the company has detected 181 leaks along a 52km route, saving 21% of drinking water in the visited neighbourhoods.
