Chinese Imports Decline in July from Record Levels in June

Chinese import data has shown significant volatility in the last few months with a spike in June and lower volumes before and after in May and July. This may just be timing impacts of when cargos landed. June witnessed a 25% y/y increase in helium import volumes, most likely resulting from depressed quantities in April and May, when there was maintenance and lower volumes from Qatar.
