Chinese engineering company, Aerosun Corporation, is the third company in China to independently develop and produce liquid helium containers, with three more currently undergoing road tests. Containers capable of storing liquid helium are challenging to source, which significantly limits the transport capacity of helium. Given the rising demand for helium, China needs an increased supply of these containers to boost its international trade. Additionally, our analysis indicates that Russia is gaining a larger share of China's import market. However, Russia has recently increased production at its Amur plant but faces a shortage of ISO containers. If China were to increase imports from Russia, having its own independently developed containers could not only facilitate this but also potentially reduce overall costs.
