China Develops 1 kW Cryogenic Compressor for 2K Superfluid Helium Systems

The Chinese Academy of Sciences' Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry has developed a cryogenic compressor for 2K (-271°C) superfluid helium systems that achieved 1 kW of cooling capacity in acceptance testing, a first for China.
