CIMC Enric and Goldory Gas have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate the development and deployment of carbon fibre helium tube bundles in China’s industrial gas sector. These advanced storage systems consist of high-pressure composite cylinders wrapped in carbon fibre, offering significantly lower weight and higher strength than traditional steel cylinders. This allows for safer, more efficient, and cost-effective transport of helium—particularly over long distances or in mobile applications. The technology is especially well-suited for sectors with high-purity helium requirements, such as semiconductor manufacturing, medical imaging (MRI), and scientific research. By adopting this next-generation storage solution, the partnership aims to reduce logistics costs, enhance safety, and support the large-scale growth of helium consumption in China, while also contributing to the country’s push toward intelligent, low-carbon industrial infrastructure.
