Bluejay Mining, an AIM and German listed natural resource exploration and development company, is expanding its portfolio through the acquisition of White Flame Energy Ltd, which holds significant exploration and exploitation licences in East Greenland's Jameson Land Basin. This region is highlighted as highly prospective for helium and natural hydrogen, alongside other industrial gases, due to its complex geological structure. Three exploration and exploitation licences that it has been granted are adjacent to Pulsar Helium's Tunu project covering 8,429 km². The basin, with its crystalline basement and extensive fault network, is conducive to the generation and trapping of helium. Historical data from previous studies by companies like ARCO suggest a strong potential for large-scale helium reservoirs, owing to the presence of organic-rich shales and volcanic activity which contribute to helium generation.
