Blue Star Helium has spudded its first well to test the Serenity prospect (Sammons 315310C) in Las Animas County, Colorado. TD is expected to be reached in 10 days at ~1,400 feet, with a further seven days anticipated for evaluation and testing. Gas samples will be taken during testing and sent for analysis, with results expected to be returned within two weeks thereafter. The company is expecting to drill at three follow-up appraisal and development locations at the Serenity prospect, with final permits to be submitted if this well is successful. No pre-drill resource has been released.
