Australian Balloon Sales Impacted by Helium Shortages

A spokesperson for party supply store Look Sharp, said there had been a shortage since July, mainly affecting its Auckland, central and lower North Island stores. Australia produces helium at the Darwin LNG facility which gets its input from the Bayu Undan gas field. Production from this field is also declining and has exacerbated the helium shortage situation in Australia.
