Avanti has an updated contingent resource estimate for the Sweetgrass Pool in Greater Knappen, Montana, which has increased by 22% to 221 mmcf of net recoverable helium in the mid-case. The total unrisked prospective for the Greater Knappen area was 1,152 mmcf. The company is working toward an on-stream production target of late 2023/early 2024. The resource estimate is based on data and test results from two wells, with potential for future drilling activity to materially impact the estimated volumes. The raw gas is estimated to contain 97.5% nitrogen, 1.1%-1.2% helium, 1.1% methane, 0.3% Co2, and trace amounts of other hydrocarbons.
