American Noble Gas has become one of the few US companies that is producing and selling helium gas, from its Peyton 21-1 well, albeit in minor quantities of just 0.5mcf/d or 0.2mmcf/y. Its initial production including natural gas and NGLs is generating positive cash-flow from its Hugoton Gas Field operations, with a total production rate of 0.1mmcf/d (0.5% helium). It is selling helium at US$800/mcf to retail buyers.
