Alaska and Texas are eyeing natural hydrogen as the next major energy resource. Both states have existing infrastructure and favourable geological formations, positioning them as key players in hydrogen development. Technological advancements, such as hydrogen-sensing gas probes, are unlocking access to deep reservoirs, potentially revolutionising the energy industry by providing a low-carbon, sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. This transition could spur economic growth and support national decarbonisation goals. Currently, there are no companies that we know of that are pursuing natural hydrogen opportunities in these states.
