AKAP Energy at the Specialty Gas Summit 2026, Frankfurt

AKAP Energy CEO and Founder Anish Kapadia opened the Helium & Rare Gases session at the Specialty Gas Summit 2026 in Frankfurt, delivering a presentation on global helium market dynamics through 2030.

Helium remains one of the world's least transparent commodity markets and bringing rigour and clarity to that opacity is at the heart of what AKAP Energy does. Anish's presentation drew on AKAP's proprietary dataset to walk attendees through the real picture of global helium trade flows, including a detailed examination of US customs data that has been systematically overstating export volumes for years, data that AKAP was instrumental in correcting.

The session also covered the significant wave of new supply additions expected through 2030, evolving demand dynamics across established and emerging end-use sectors, and the wildcards that could reshape the market from AI-driven semiconductor growth and quantum computing to airships and commercial fusion, and pricing trends across the globe. gasworld described the presentation as "a masterclass in bringing transparency to one of the most opaque markets in the industry."
