AirYacht, a Switzerland-based company, revised its flying superyacht concept, now featuring a 656-foot helium airship with a permanently attached 8,600 sqft lounge, designed to accommodate up to 40 guests and 15 crew members including pilots. The updated design eliminates the detachable sea vessel feature, instead opting for a design that operates exclusively in the air, with added capabilities. Scheduled for initial flight tests in 2026, the airship aims for a hybrid propulsion system transitioning to hydrogen by 2030 to achieve emission-free operations.
