Air Liquide Withdraws from all Businesses in Russia

Air Liquide has confirmed that it will withdraw all of its business activities from Russia. The company has signed a MOU with the local management team to transfer its Russian business in a management buy out. This decision comes as a result of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Although not particularly flagged, this is will have a negative impact on its helium midstream and downstream business in Russia, intensifying the ongoing global helium shortage.
