Buru Energy's wholly owned subsidiary, 2H Resources, entered into a Research Agreement with CSIRO to develop autonomous monitoring sensors for detecting surface occurrences of natural hydrogen. The agreement aims to support early exploration efforts for hydrogen and helium in South Australia. The company received an independent third-party Hydrogen Prospective Resource estimate indicating substantial hydrogen resources ranging between ~20 bcf and ~550 bcf (best estimate of ~145 bcf). Plans include engaging with Native Title groups, deploying monitoring sensors, and exploring commercialisation options aligned with emissions reduction policies.
