In an interview with The Citizen, Helium One CEO, Lorna Blaisse, discussed the company's expanding exploration activities in Tanzania, where it has secured ~740k acres across three geological basins. Helium One's drilling of wells in the Rukwa Basin promises to position Tanzania as a major helium producer. Lorna believes that this development not only has the potential to stabilise global helium prices but also offers considerable economic benefits to Tanzania through profits, taxes, and royalties, while aligning with the government's strategy to promote investment in critical minerals like helium.
