Lime Petroleum, a subsidiary of Rex International, entered into an agreement to acquire an option for 80% ownership in the Reudnitz gas field from Genexco (100% owner). The gas field is located near Berlin, Germany, and is estimated to hold >118bcf of methane and 1bcf of helium. Genexco will conduct a work-over of well RZ2 in Q4'24, after which Lime may assume operatorship if it exercises the option. There is only one other company, 45-8 Energy exploring for helium opportunities in Germany on the Guhlen license, although it lies ~200km west of the Reudnitz gas field.
