India's Helium Pricing hits new Record Levels

Indian helium import pricing hit a new record level of US$439/mcf representing a is a 15% increase YTD to Oct'22. India receives majority of its helium from Qatar with a small amount coming from Singapore, most likely re-exports. Volumes have remained in the same range with a decreasing trend since Jan '22. The last 2 months (Sep and Oct'22) have had constant volumes of 9mmcf/month. This evidences that helium pricing spikes due to the global shortage have affected India.
