Grand Gulf Plans Re-entry of Jesse-1A Well for Helium Flow Test

Grand Gulf Energy in collaboration with Walsh Engineering, is set to re-enter the Jesse-1A well, the maiden Red Helium project wildcat exploration well. Following a comprehensive review, the decision is driven by the well's promising initial results, including the >200-foot gas column with 101 feet of net pay and 1% helium in the primary Leadville Mississippian Dolomite target. The upcoming operation will isolate the potentially water-bearing lower Leadville zone, to conduct a helium gas flow test of the upper Leadville, providing crucial information for optimisation and informing the design of the Jesse-3 well. The Utah Division of Oil, Gas and Mining has approved the re-entry program, and success could lead to early production for the Red Helium project.
