Blue Star Helium executed a Master Services Agreement with IACX Energy for the provision of helium recovery services through the delivery and operation of a helium recovery plant at its Voyager helium development in the US. This strategic partnership eliminates the need for Blue Star to commit to price-concession offtake agreements, allowing it to target premium pricing in short-term US contract markets and spot sales. The plant at Voyager can be expanded in the future to increase helium output and accommodate additional high-He-concentration raw gas from surrounding discoveries. The company is expected to begin production in Q4'23 and believes that it will be able to sell helium at the US spot prices in the range of US$450-3,000/mcf.
