Blue Star Helium has begun mobilising rig equipment and personnel for its Enterprise 16-1 helium well in Colorado as it prepares to commence the workover of the well. The activities are to be completed as part of the workover include setting a cement plug from 1,150 feet before running a 4.5-inch casing from this depth across the Lyons formation. Blue Star will then perforate the top of the gas zone before it takes on swabbing operations to remove invaded fluid from the wellbore. The company expects the workover process to take about 12 days to complete.
