Agilent Technologies, an American analytical instrumentation development and manufacturing company, recently divulged its strategies of coping with the helium shortage and the high helium costs it brings with it for gas chromatography (GC). The main solution was to either conserve helium using a Helium Conservation module or to replace it with nitrogen or hydrogen.
