Tumbleweed Midstream has officially cancelled the sales process of its Ladder Creek Helium Plant and Gathering System in the helium-rich region of eastern Colorado and western Kansas because it is now fully committed to ongoing operations and continued growth after two years of exploring potential sales. The existing management team, including CEO Durell Johnson, has been replaced by Cavalcade Midstream team. The company had ambitious plans to grow helium production through the plant but appears to have fallen short. Tumbleweed Midstream, LLC acquired Ladder Creek from DCP Midstream in 2019 for an undisclosed amount.
