The global helium market is growing steadily, due to its many uses in a wide range of industries, from healthcare to electronics. Demand has been fuelled by a shortage caused by supply disruptions, and helium prices have risen accordingly. Nigeria has the potential to become a major helium producer, due to the presence of its six gas plants.
