This sealed system avoids helium waste through automatic restart mechanisms, marking a significant advancement in resource-efficient medical imaging. The introduction of MAGNETOM Flow at the Dorna Medical Clinic in Borșa represents a major step forward in sustainable healthcare practices, ensuring high-quality patient care and reducing environmental impact. Helium usage for MRI scanners accounts for nearly 15-20% of the overall helium market and is expected to grow in the coming years as more MRI's are being installed in countries across the world as healthcare systems improve.
