Shimadzu Unveils Helium-Free GCMS

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments introduced the GCMS-QP2050, a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer designed to address the helium shortage. With a new DuraEase ion source, the system maximises uptime and sensitivity while minimising maintenance requirements. Additionally, it is helium-free, ready for use with alternative carrier gases.
