Renergen’s LNG plant, in the Free State, resumed operations following repairs to a faulty conduction oil system, which recently resulted in the company taking the decision to halt operations to protect the helium and nitrogen modules. Since the repair work was undertaken, the system had been thoroughly tested, and the LNG system was now operational and producing LNG, Renergen confirmed on November 15. The next step is to get the helium production up and running in the coming weeks.
