Renaissance of Airship Travel could drive Helium Demand

Airships have been undergoing a renaissance, with companies such as Hybrid Air Vehicles and Google co founder Sergey Brin's LTA Research outfit leading the charge. Airships offer low operating costs, reduced infrastructure requirements and significantly lower carbon output than jet aircraft, making them attractive for regional travel. Air Nostrum recently ordered 10 Airlander airships for certification and commercial use in 2026, and other companies like Atlas LTA and OceanSky Cruises are offering their own luxury airships for travellers.
