Refinery Sues US BLM Over Contaminated Helium Delivery

An Oklahoma helium refinery has filed a lawsuit against the US BLM stating that there has been negligence and mishandling of crude helium at the BLM facility leading to severe damage at the refinery after it received a methane-tainted deliveries. Keyes Helium Co. and its insurers allege the BLM's negligence has forced the company to throw out massive amounts of helium and shut down its Oklahoma facility. Multiple shutdowns in the past month have also been due to contaminated helium inputs, which is again, allegedly the fault of the BLM.
