Longhorn Exploration entered an agreement to acquire 100% of PureWave Hydrogen, gaining five natural hydrogen leases covering ~900 acres in Kansas. Previously, Longhorn had acquired ~315 acres from PureWave but post the acquisition, Longhorn will control all of PureWave's leases in Kansas. These leases are located over the Mid-Continental Rift where other players such as HyTerra, H2Au and Koloma are also exploring for natural hydrogen. The leases allow for exploration and production of natural hydrogen, with landowners receiving a 12.5% royalty on any production.
