The defence ministry of Israel has finally revealed its "Sky-Dew" project - a giant missile detecting balloon (aerostat) developed in a joint venture by Israel’s Missile Defence Organization and the United States’ Missile Defence Agency over the course of several years. Sensors onboard the balloon are meant to identify incoming long-range munitions and drones.
