Invictus Energy has selected the Mukuyu-2 appraisal well location, situated northeast of the successful Mukuyu-1 well in the Cabora Bassa Basin in Zimbabwe. The near-vertical Mukuyu-2 well aims to penetrate the Upper Angwa target, allowing for potential confirmation of a significant discovery. Preparations are underway, including well pad construction, with drilling scheduled to commence in Q3’23. The well will also explore the Lower Angwa reservoirs, contributing to the understanding of the basin's hydrocarbon potential.
