Invictus Energy Limited has provided an update on its Cabora Bassa exploration in Zimbabwe. The company's mudgas analysis revealed the presence of helium gas of ~0.1%, which it claimed to be a commercial concentration. However, we see this level of helium to be marginal at best, especially in a remote and politically risky region. The concentration is potentially greater within the reservoir than measured as helium, due to its small particle size, can escape through the micropores in glass isotubes used for gas sampling and storage.
