Imperial Helium has confirmed the presence of helium in an additional zone on the Steveville Structure, encountering gas with a 0.5% helium content. The company has also begun the first of its two production tests on the IHC-Steveville-3 well which will test two separate zones - new lower Sub-Salt Zone (“SSZ”) and the Blow-Out-Zone (“BOZ”). The production tests are expected to complete in 30 days.
