Helium One Global submitted a Mining Licence (ML) application to the Tanzanian Ministry of Minerals for the southern Rukwa Helium Project, which includes the Itumbula and Tai areas. This follows the completion of a detailed feasibility study and a six-month environmental study (ESIA), now awaiting approval. The company is also allowing 888 km² of non-prospective and inaccessible licences in Eastern Rukwa, Eastern Eyasi, and Balangida to lapse as there have been no productive developments, saving US$177k/y of fees. The company retains a 286 km² PL in the central Eyasi Rift Basin for future exploration.
