Helium One Set to Drill at Rukwa in Q3'23

At its AGM this week Helium One Global's new CEO, Lorna Blaisse, said it is fully committed to Phase II drilling at Rukwa with a re-drill of the Tai prospect, with a new well to a depth of 1,300 metres is planned. Discussions are underway with several rig groups with a preferred contractor identified, while talks with another operator regarding rig sharing options are also ongoing. Noble Helium has also said that it is planning to drill later this year. This outlook also indicates a planned drilling programme at Rukwa commencing in Q3 of this year.
