Australian listed company Helios announced that the company will be constructing a second helium extraction plant through it JV with Shanxi Wanshengyuan Natural Gas Co. Helios will be responsible for construction of the boil-off-gas unit and Shanxi Wanshengyuan will provide the land and all BOG feed gas and all associated utilities for the helium extraction. The plant is expected to cost ~US$9.5 million and generate revenues of US$39m per annum. Helios will be entitled to 50% of the profits of the joint venture.
