Helios Energy to extract boil-off gas helium via a JV in China

Helios Energy Ltd recently entered into a Joint Venture (JV) with Ordos Xingxing Energy to extract boil-off gas helium in China. The JV would be the first ever company in China to carry out such an operation. Ordos will be responsible for arranging the land resource and feed gas for the process while Helios will be constructing the extraction facility at an estimated cost of US$ 3 million and will produce approximately 3.5mmcf per annum.
