Gold Hydrogen revealed high helium concentrations in its recent interim lab results at its Ramsay project on the Yorke Peninsula in Australia, with helium concentrations reaching up to 25%, the highest recorded in the world. These gas samples were extracted from water at standard conditions from a downhole sample. While this finding is significant, it is important to note the difficulty in extracting helium from water and the potential issue of high helium levels in dissolved gas but limited overall gas in absolute terms. Gold Hydrogen has not yet disclosed any flow rates, a critical factor in assessing the project's economics. Testing is ongoing to determine the feasibility of the project. Earlier the company has discovered 17.5% helium concentrations. The project, in collaboration with Mizuho Bank, aims to leverage these findings for future development. Initial Stage 2 exploration tests show increasing purities of both gases, and the completed 2D seismic survey will guide future well locations.
